Create Operating Life Cycle Statuses for plant. Choose to silence maintenance plans and key document notifications.

Updated over a month ago

The Asset Lifecycle Status feature is an exclusive tool available to Maintenance+ subscription license holders. This functionality enables you to categorize your assets based on their operational state, ensuring precise management of maintenance, compliance, and operational oversight.

You can assign an asset one of three lifecycle statuses:

  1. Operating: This status indicates that the asset is fully functional, operational, and eligible for all activities. Assets in this status are actively contributing to your operations.

  2. Non-Operating: This status reflects that the asset is not functioning and is inactive. It may require attention for potential reactivation or decommissioning. For assets marked as Non-Operating, maintenance configurations can be adjusted to suit specific requirements, such as:

    • Silencing Maintenance Plan-Related Notifications.

    • Configuring permissions to allow or restrict the ability to raise Work Order Requests and Work Orders.

    • Silencing Key Document Notifications.

    • Note: Notifications related to Rail Vehicle Assessments and Client Compliance cannot be silenced, ensuring critical compliance remains prioritised.

  3. Decommissioned: This status signifies that the asset has been permanently taken out of operations. When an asset is marked as Decommissioned:

    • It is disconnected from all client schemas.

    • It is removed from maintenance plans.

    • It is no longer part of operational workflows or activities

As mentioned to access this feature you will need to have a maintenance+ seat assigned to your account. You will also need to have the "Edit Asset Lifecycle Status" permission turned on. If you meet both these criteria then you will find Lifecycle Status by clicking your avatar in the top right > Configuration Panel > Maintenance.
