This information is to serve those users who want to use just a single custom template form to cover all interval steps in their maintenance plan.

*If you have chosen to create and use seperate template forms for each interval step in your maintenance plan the information in this article is not applicable

Order Of Configuration

To show the correct form sections with the correct maintenance interval steps links in the form will need to be established.

It is important to note that these links cannot be established until both the form and the plan have been created.

1. Using the Form Builder, create the single custom template form you wish to link to all interval steps in your Maintenance Plan.

How do I access the form builder? See this helpful article - Build & Edit Custom Maintenance Forms

2. Create your Maintenance Plan, remembering to choose said custom form as the template for all interval steps.

How do I create a maintenance plan? See this helpful article - How to Create a Maintenance Plan

3. Edit the custom form to link the required sections to the correct interval steps in the Maintenance Plan.

Example sections taken from a custom form

Let's take a look at the below example:

Here we have the Engine & Cooling System sections taken from a custom maintenance form that has been designed for a maintenance plan that has four service intervals: Service A, B, C & D

The first section has a section subtitle SERVICE A,B,C,D and contains all checklist items that are performed in all four service intervals.

The second section has a section subtitle SERVICE B,C,D and contains all checklist items that are performed in Service Intervals B,C & D only.

The third section has a section subtitle SERVICE C,D and contains all checklist items that are performed in Service Intervals C & D only.

Lastly, the fourth section has a section subtitle SERVICE D and contains all checklist items that are performed in Service Interval D only.
