Using the booking confirmation email this article shows how an operator can check in to a Sydney Trains Work site

Background

Work logs in Aquipa enable the real-time capture of site and shift data like:

  1. Hours worked and time on site

  2. Machine and attachment usage

  3. Meal breaks and downtime

  4. Other site or shift related elements that had time and/or costs associated

How do I complete a work log?

To complete a work log you must

  1. Check in at the start of your shift

  2. Check out at the end of your shift

How do I check in from the booking confirmation email?

Open the booking confirmation (HEC) email on your phone or tablet and tap the "Go To Booking" button

If you have the app already installed, click the "Open in the Aquipa app" button

Or

If you don't have the app, follow the link to the App Store to download it.

The Aquipa app will open to a basic view of the booking summary. Here you will see

  1. Key details about the booking

  2. Basic information about the plant (including compliance status)

  3. Confirmation checkbox to confirm the plant is correct

  4. Replace Booked Plant button in case the plant in the booking is incorrect. This button will enable you to select the correct plant from a list of other plant available for the booking.

When the booked plant confirmation box is checked the "CHECK IN" button will turn blue. Tap the "CHECK IN" button to complete the check in process

How do I check out & complete my work log?

At the end of your shift to complete your work log you will need to check out using the Aquipa app.

At the end of your shift, open the Aquipa app to start the check out process and log your work details.

The "CHECK OUT" button in the app can be accessed from the

  1. Left hand menu, or

  2. the booking summary window

To CHECK OUT tap the button

Enter the required information

(All fields marked with an * are mandatory)

When you see this icon you may tap it to get more information to help you complete the field correctly.

At the top of the CHECK OUT screen, you will find a declaration check box.

Before submitting tap the declaration check the box to confirm you docket is a correct record of times worked.

Tap the "SUBMIT" button to submit your work log.

Once submitted your screen will display a message saying Checkout Complete and a QR Code will appear.

Take your phone to a Sydney Trains site representative and show them your completed checkout with the QR code. The representative can then open the Aquipa app on their phone, click Scan QR Code and scan the code to bring up the work log to review your hours.

If the Sydney Trains supervisor is unable to scan the QR Code you also have the option to tap the "SHARE LINK TO WORK LOG" button which will enable you to send the link by SMS or email to them so that they may review your hours.

Once completed Tap "DISMISS"

A final declaration check box will appear in a red banner.

Tap the declaration check box to confirm your work log has been reviewed by a Sydney Trains representative before leaving site.

Finish by tapping "DISMISS"
