If you're a plant operator and you've recently lost access to your Aquipa account, it’s likely due to changes made by a supplier you were connected to. This article explains why this happens, and how to prevent it in the future.
🛠 Why Your Account Was Deleted
If you were set up as a User under a supplier’s account, that supplier had full control over your profile.
When a supplier removes you from their business in Aquipa, it automatically:
Deletes your User and Operator roles under their company
Deletes your entire account
Breaks any existing connections you had to other businesses
This happens because your access was managed by that supplier — not independently by you.
✅ When This Setup Works
Being a User/Operator under a supplier’s account is fine if you only work for that one supplier. In that case, it’s expected that they manage your access and roles.
But if you work across multiple suppliers or projects, this setup can cause issues.
🔐 Recommended: Create Your Own Operator Account
If you're an Operator working with multiple suppliers, you should have your own independent Operator account.
Benefits of your own account:
You control your profile, not a supplier
You stay connected to all other suppliers and clients, even if one removes you
You avoid sudden account deletion or access loss
Many Operators in Aquipa use this setup for exactly these reasons.
