Using Chrome Split View with Aquipa

Split View

Chrome’s Split View feature is a great way to work across two Aquipa pages at the same time. It makes it easier to multitask, compare information, and cross-reference records without constantly switching between tabs.

For example, you can keep your Task list open on one side of the screen while reviewing the related Plant details on the other.

Why use Split View?

Split View is useful when you need to:

  • Review a task while checking the related plant record

  • Compare information across two Aquipa pages

  • Work through assessments, tasks, or inspections while keeping reference information visible

  • Avoid switching back and forth between browser tabs

How to open Aquipa in Split View

  1. In Aquipa, go to the left-hand menu.

  2. Right-click the menu item you want to open, such as Plant, Tasks, Cases, Work Orders, or Risk Inspections.

  3. Select Open Link in Split View from the browser menu.

  4. Chrome will open that Aquipa page beside your current page.

You can now work across both views side by side.

Example: Reviewing Tasks and Plant Details together

A common use case is reviewing a task while keeping the related plant record open.

You might have:

  • Tasks open on the right-hand side

  • Plant Details open on the left-hand side

This allows you to select a task, check the linked plant, and review key details such as specifications, operating conditions, registrations, and application status without losing your place in the task list.

Tips for working in Split View

Use Split View when you need to compare or reference information across different parts of Aquipa.

For example, you may want to keep one view open for your working list, such as Tasks, and use the other view for supporting information, such as Plant, Operators, Work Orders, or Risk Inspections.

This can be especially helpful when reviewing plant-related tasks, checking compliance details, or working through multiple records.
