How to Request a Plant Connection

Suppliers might choose to display all their available plant to clients, even if they are not immediately connected, to showcase the extent of their inventory and resources.

To enable this functionality, please follow the below steps:

  1. Click your avatar and select 'Account Settings' from the dropdown.

  2. Navigate to the General configuration module.

  3. Tick the box for the 'Show Unconnected Plant to Clients'.

Once a supplier has made all their plants visible to their hiring clients, the plants can be viewed via the 'Unconnected' tab in the plant table. Clients may request the supplier to complete an application to successfully connect the plant to their network.

To request a supplier to connect a plant to your network, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to the plant table and select the 'Request' button, or alternatively, in the plant profile, select 'Request Plant Connection'.

  2. Select the Schema from the dropdown menu and press 'Submit'.

  3. Once the request has been submitted a blue banner will appear in the plant profile stating that a request has been made.

  4. Once the request is submitted, the supplier will receive a notification and see a blue banner on their plant profile or dashboard. At this point, the supplier can choose to either accept or reject the request. If the supplier accepts, they must complete the selected schema.
